1. E inlet trailhead to Adams Falls (end of portal rd) 0.6 mi. Adams Falls is one of the most popular hikes in its region. 0.3 miles from the East Inlet Trailhead (which is at the West Portal of Grand Lake). Adams Falls is a short climb uphill to reach the falls. A rocky outlook peers down on the rushing falls, which are pretty and surrounded by small rocky cliffs. The falls give way to a river which trickles down and can be followed for about another half a mile.
