This pizza place has amazing crust because they use fresh-ground local wheat. The topping combinations are great, and I love the beet salad. A perfect example of simple food done well.

This small offshoot of the RAD bar/restaurant Bull and Beggar makes some very tasty sandwiches. Quick service, lots of outdoor picnic tables. We love everything we have had here, but I’d start with the lobster roll and hush puppies.

I love the creative twist on tacos at this shop. My favorites are the Bangkok shrimp and Thai peanut chicken. They also have a huge outdoor seating area right on the river.

Our favorite bean to bar chocolate shop has a new factory and offers tours most days. They also sell sweets at this location, which is much less crowded than the flagship downtown.

This is a great place to break for lunch. Lots of fresh salads and side dishes to combine to fill you up. Most of their options are sitting right there in the deli case, so you can see what looks tasty. The sweet potato salad is addictive.

I highly recommend this new restaurant if you enjoy unadulterated International food. You’ll feel like you’ve crossed the ocean between the traditional Indian street-food and the Bollywood music videos playing on the screen. Take your time reading through the menu as there are some delicious options.

This is a pretty swanky dim sum restaurant, different from traditional dim sum spots in other parts of the country, but the food tastes great, and there are lots of options. I love the pork dumplings Shanghai style and stir fried string beans.

Antidote has a great turn-of-the-century vibe with lots of nooks and crannies, plus a rooftop bar. The cocktails are great, if a bit pricey.
