This place is nestled right in the middle of the graffitied warehouses and artist lofts of the River Arts District. It’s a quick 3 minute drive from the studio. They have a delicious coffee selection and a great in-house baker. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

360 degree panoramic views! This is an easy 1.5 mile out-and-back paved trail (through rhododendron gardens in the summer). I always recommend this hike to guests because it offers a nice 45 minute drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway and excellent views. Sometimes the fog can be thick in the mornings at high elevation. Take a look at the forecast before you plan your trip!
