Beach Time
Which beaches to visit and why.
The beach to the right of the pier is one of the best places to swim in Orange County. The surf breaks far from the shore allowing plenty of room to swim or body surf. Surfing using a board, beater or anything with a long hard fin isn’t allowed after 10am in certain sections because it gets crowded. Boogie boards are always allowed.

Newport Beach Pier

Great place to have a picnic at the park and then walk down to the sand and surf.

I don’t recommend you go in the water at this location, the waves crash on top of each other and there are always rip currents. If you decide to go into the water stay away from the pier and swim close to a lifeguard station.

Digul Huntington Beach
