Fallbrook offers many dining options, but please note that since we are a small town, most restaurants may close by 8pm. Please be sure to check their hours in advance and plan ahead!
This is our favorite place in town!
127 West Social House is a gastropub with great food options and an extensive list of beers on tap, many of which are local to San Diego. Our favorites at Social House are the bacon-wrapped dates and Stagecoach burger.

There is a little food counter at the back of the grocery store that has Mexican food. We love stopping by for $1 tacos on Tuesday and Sundays. There is an outdoor seating area where you can enjoy your tacos!

Great place for coffee, and a yummy array of breakfast and lunch options, including Cuban-inspired sandwiches and bowls. Good selection of bottled/canned beers.

Our favorite local winery! Try the rose if it is available. Outdoor and indoor seating, and you can enjoy local wine that is grown completely in the Fallbrook area. We think their wines are superior to a lot of the options in nearby Temecula wine country, and Myrtle Creek is conveniently located 5 minutes from Foggy Oaks!

Huge beer list and a big restaurant based on "slow food" principles (local products and everything cooked from scratch). You can also do a brewery tour. Stone gets busy, so we recommend making reservations in advance for brewery tours and for the restaurant.

Check out our nearest beach! Oceanside is about a 25-min drive from Foggy Oaks Farm. There is ample beach parking (note that you should bring change for meters or a few dollar bills for parking lots), great surf, and it's usually not too crowded, even in summer (if you go south toward San Diego you will encounter more crowds). The Oceanside Pier is great for walking and has a few restaurant options.

We definitely recommend checking out their free olive oil and vinegar tasting, where you will get try around 10-15 combinations of infused olive oils and vinegars. They have some really creative and surprising flavors, and you can also do a wine tasting or get a glass of wine or peach sangria to go with your olive oil tasting.
Calabro is located in Old Town Temecula, which is great for walking around, shopping, and eating.

Old Town Temecula is a great area for strolling, eating, and shopping. There is a big farmers' market on Saturday mornings with a nice mix of produce vendors, crafts, and prepared foods. Make sure you try the Red Sambusas, our favorite snack!

Myrtle Creek is a fun family destination about five minutes away from Foggy Oaks. They are a nursery, so you can find a great selection of native and other plants. They have a great goat habitat (they ask you pay to feed the goats), picnic-type food available for purchase, and many nice seating areas. There is also an old Victorian house they have turned into a Fairy House. You can build your own fairy garden there, but just note the cost for that will add up quickly!

Legoland is about a 45 minute drive from Foggy Oaks. It is a fun amusement park geared to younger children and anyone who loves Legos. There is also a nice aquarium there (for an additional cost).

Great aquarium for children and adults. This is an excellent and more reasonably-priced alternative to the theme parks in the area (adult tickets around $20, children $15).

Balboa Park is San Diego's large urban park, located right in the city. It has a 17 museums and cultural institutions, including the Natural History Museum, Museum of Man, Fleet Science Center, and San Diego Museum of Art, among others. There are also park/garden areas, walking trails, a dog park, and an archery park. It is a great place to spend a few hours or the whole day. We like to stroll around before heading further into the city to check out Little Italy, the Gaslamp District, or a Padres game.
