Its easy to find excellent mexican food in LA but Loteria is cuisine-like and not greasy - some people regard it as one of the best in town. It's extensive array of options are all delicious.

Even though Cal Pita is a chain of greek-lite fare (don't expect authentic here), I think its great and I eat here frequently. Fresh, Delicious, Low-Fat, and Fast -- and they make my favorite Hummus.

I'm not a connoisseur of NY Pizza but Santino's is by far the best I've ever had anywhere period. I'm from Chicago so I lean towards deep dish but Santinos has me fully converted to an NY pizza lover.

CalChick the go-to amoungst Angelinos, and you can't really go wrong here. The Encino location is closest -expect to find the best selection of yummy wraps, salads, and sides here. A lunch must.

AYCE flat-rate Sushi within walking distance. Not the best I've ever had, but it's pretty darn good for the value. Try the House Roll or do AYCE to stuff yourself with mediocre-to-good sushi.
