The second best wings in Charlotte in our opinion. Yes it's a chain but it's not national so if you've never heard of it before, you should go. The Wild West wings are the best as are the Garlic and Red-Hot-N-Bleu wings.

Best patio in Charlotte. Best lunch in Charlotte in our opinion as well. Something for everyone. Great French Onion soup! Only about a 5 minute drive from our house near Southpark Mall and Piedmont Row.

Piedmont Row can be fun and is very close to our house near Southpark Mall. There's a restaurant for all tastes here including Italian (Brio Tuscan Grill), French (Georges Brasserie), Mexican-American (Taco Mac - more of a sports bar and drinking spot, food isn't so great), Eclectic American (Terrace Cafe - get the Red Velvet Waffle available any time of day!), Upscale (Del Frisco's - fancy!), Breakfast (Cast Iron Waffles) and even a wine bar (J. Sam's, very cozy).
They also have alive-after-five style events here throughout the year where they close down the main areas and have a stage and bands.

We can't believe how lucky we are to have this place only 30 minutes from us. Get there early as it fills up and they stop letting folks in because the parking tends to run out. Trails for every skill level.

No place like this in the world. Beautiful to go to and spend the day even if you don't have an active bone in your body. They have music nearly year round, festivals, whitewater rafting, zip lines, hiking, mountain biking. We LOVE this place.
