Hike
This fantastic park has a maze of hikes you can do just above your guest house. The Library is a fantastic architectural sight to behold, I recommend doing this about an hour before sunset
Brand Library & Art Center
1601 W Mountain StThere are so many hiking trails, the old abandoned creepy zoo, the new Zoo, Gene Autry Museum, trails, driving range, golf course. My 2 favorite hikes are to Mt. Hollywood to see the Hollywood sign or to Cedar Grove.

If you drive to Crystal Springs you can park and hike up to The Observatory, park closes at sundown on that side so no parking after that. There’s an adorable food stand called The Trails Cafe you can have Pie!

I don’t really like this spot, but everyone seems to have it on their must see list. It’s a little crime riddled, so be alert; it’s a pretty short drive from here. Danny Trejo has a fantastic restaurant near there: Trejo’o Tacos.
