The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is a really cool zoo! It's on the side of Cheyenne the mountain just past the Broadmoor hotel. You can feed the giraffes here, take a chairlift up for a birds-eye view of the springs, and also check out the Will Rodgers Shrine after if you are feeling up to it.

Sightseeing
If you are looking to take the train up to the top of Pikes Peak; this is it! The train ride is about 45 minutes each way, providing a quick change in elevation. I recommend doing this after you have had time to acclimate to the altitue. :)
