This is IMO the best coffee in town - cool industrial look - great pastries. Can be busy so finding a spot to sit and hang during busy times can be rough. It's also the closest coffee to the house! Easy walk :)

This is a great place for a comfy couch and a pretty good coffee. They offer breakfast and lunch items. The owner's wife is a local sculptor with works around town AND she was just commissioned to create a sculpture on the National Mall to honor women's suffrage.

Downtown restaurants can be tough to get in to - especially on weekends. This is counter service so no need for a reservation. Good tacos - really like the spicy marg! Often music in this square - also across from the movie theatre, and axe throwing (it's fun!)
