The Los Angeles Metro System
The Norwalk Station (Green Line) is 4 miles away. That connects to the Blue line, which will to you to Downtown Los Angeles. From the Blue line you can take the Red Line, which will take you to Hollywood. The Metro does pass through parts of Los Angeles that aren't the greatest, but it is very safe and I think it makes for a real feel of the city.
