Farm Cottage by the Creek

Chill out under the stars on our quaint farm cottage w/ a view of Jerome. We are just a few miles from the most fantastic wineries in Page Springs, at least four wineries within a 5 minute drive. Whether you spend your days at local art galleries, wine tastings, kayaking on the river, hiking in Sedona or exploring the charm of old town Cottonwood or Jerome, you will come home to the peace and quiet of this beautiful place. Discover the magic of rural Verde Valley!

The space is a 600 square foot cottage with a kitchen, bath/shower, sitting area with double french doors that open to the patio, and the sleeping area. It's delightful, quaint, clean, and sits on the side of a gorgeous 12 acre working family carefarm. You will see horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, sheep, cats, dogs, and more! A small creek runs right next to the cottage so you can enjoy morning coffee or tea on the bistro table while watching the herons and owls too. Formerly a 4.9 star listing on Air B&B (see /cornvillecottage), people love this magical and special place!

This is located on a working farm. You may see a variety of animals right out your window. Depending on the time of year, you will see horses, donkeys, cows, pigs, goats, sheep, and of course, some dogs and cats, too! Please enjoy our animals but do not approach the fence as we have guardian dogs who are there to protect them.

One pet allowed with pet fee unless permission obtained for more prior to booking. Please be sure pets remain on leashes. We have cats who live on the property. Please pick up after your pet too. We appreciate that.

Relax on our small family farm watching horses, goats, pigs, donkeys, cows, alpacas, and more animals on the property. Enjoy several local wineries starting within a mile of the cottage on Page Springs Road. Hiking, trail and road cycling can start a drive or walk out the door. Drive 15-20 minutes into West Sedona for great trail in the red rocks of Sedona. Jerome only 30 mins, Cottonwood only 10 mins. Most central location in the Verde Valley. Take a ride on the train to the Grand Canyon from Clarkdale too!

Beautiful, spacious property with a very cozy guest house for relaxation. About 20 minutes or so from Sedona. Bring a flashlight since it gets very dark on the property at night, especially if you have a dog to take for a walk. As indicated in the house guide, backing into the driveway - once traffic has passed - is advised. I was only able to connect to wifi but that was enough for me to get on my cell phone since I don't watch TV.Thanks for a wonderful, peaceful stay. I love the property!

I so enjoyed my stay at Cottage by the Creek. It’s a great location and value to sightsee in Sedona. Far enough away from the crowds to enjoy nature after a day of hiking. Takes about 20 minutes to drive into Sedona. The cottage is super clean and cute! I appreciated finding such a good spot that also allowed me to bring my pup.

Jo was an AMAZING host! We loved staying at her home--it was the perfect setting for our adventure in Sedona. First off, the location is fabulous. Their home is about 30 minutes from almost all the hikes in Sedona and just a short 1 mile walk to 4 wineries! Go get your adventure on early in the morning, drive home, shower, walk to a winery, stumble home and make a nice dinner in their well stocked kitchen and then crash! The kitchen has all of your basic cooking gear--pots, pans, a stove, etc.--and a few really sweet touches--a tea bar and some oatmeal. The bed was firm but comfortable. It was rather squeaky getting in and out of it, but that's not a problem for most. We loved the electric fireplace which warmed up the home quickly in the cold winter mornings and was great to snuggle or do yoga next to. Jo and her hubby are amazing hosts and responded quickly to our needs. They are such lovely humans and the perfect hosts!

If you are looking for a cozy space, close to wineries and hiking trails, this is a great option! We loved our stay- the grounds were beautiful and peaceful and the cottage was the perfect amount of space for our stay. Communication with the host was great and our check-in/out went smoothly.

We had such a lovely stay and appreciated the proximity to Sedona. Your farm is lovely and the cottage was so cozy...

This was a stunningly beautiful property. It is a working ranch so one can expect associated noise such as working dogs guarding the flock and Ranchhands tending to daily chores. We were in town for a celebration of life for my dear friend who lived nearby. We celebrated at a local winery which she loved and had a wonderful experience. One unexpected highlight was an otter in the irrigation ditch right in front of the cottage! You don’t see that every day. Our Cattledog Lucy was in heaven and I’m pretty sure she would love to join your tribe! Thank you Jo for a lovely stay. Carol, Ben and Lucy

We are a long-time Sedona family, here since the 1970s, and we love sharing our beautiful town with travelers from around the world.

Dave is an engineer and I am a research professor. Most of our family lives in the area. I love hiking, and some of my favorites in the Verde Valley include: Brewer Trail (trailhead just outside our door to your left, across from the Weslyan Church), West Fork (very busy trail, go during the week, early!), Wilson Mountain (extremely difficult), Bear Mountain (also a challenge), Crescent Moon State Park/Cathedral, Sycamore Canyon, and High Line. My favorite restaurants are ChocolaTree and Picazzo's. My favorite drive is the through the canyon north up 89A toward Flagstaff. Be sure to check out Tlaquepaque in Sedona, Mormon Crossing (only 5 mins from Cottage by the Creek), and the Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona. There's a hike worth taking right behind the chapel too. Lots of bike trails around Cornville, and Farm-a-Gogo right down the street has amazing vegan cauliflower tacos!
