Your 2-room suite provides all of the comforts you need, and convenience to Hendersonville, Asheville, and Lake Lure. The living room has a T.V., fireplace, and dining area, and the bedroom has a bed, closet, and dresser. A private bathroom is included. Our beautiful yard has a goldfish pond, and lounge chairs. In the morning we provide a self-serve breakfast of toast, cereal, juice, fruit, coffee and tea. Your suite has a microwave, toaster, and refrigerator, and a private entrance.

Our home is located about 10 minutes from Hendersonville, 25 minutes from Asheville, and 35 minutes from Lake Lure. The Pisgah Forest and Dupont State Forest, as well as many other hiking and scenic areas, are within a 45 minute drive. We live in a quiet, peaceful setting, yet are close to all of the attractions people come to this area for.

Our neighborhood is all wooded, with each house on a large lot, ensuring privacy and peace for every home. We do have wildlife visit our yard, including many birds, squirrels, raccoons and possums, and an occasional black bear or fox. Our road ends a few houses beyond our house, so there is no thru traffic, and no road noise.

I am a retired teacher, and also owned a garden center in Pennsylvania, and my husband is and retired pilot, and broker for grocery stores. We are 'snowbirds", spending half of the year in Florida and half in North Carolina. We love to travel, love animals, and the outdoors. We are both physically active, and enjoy hiking, biking, and being outside. We have two dogs. We own a large RV, which we live in for half of the year. We lived in Costa Rica for 6 months, and have travelled throughout the world, as well as the U.S. We love to meet new people , and learn about their adventures.
