If you’re after a peaceful country retreat AND a beach holiday this is the place for you! Melody Farm is on 9 acres and will take you from a day on the beach to perfect peace and calm, surrounded by gardens and views of the valley! Spacious indoor/outdoor living with room for 6 adults. Extra kids’ beds can be arranged. Pets by arrangement. Within minutes to wineries, surf shops, beaches, cliff walks, chocolaterie. Open fire! Beautiful night skies! Live closer to nature, you won't want to leave!

The property has 9 acres in the beautiful Spring Creek Valley around 5 minutes drive from the famous surfing town of Torquay in Victoria, on the Surf Coast. Our property is tucked away on a quiet dirt road, surrounded by hills. We are 11km from Anglesea and Geelong is our nearest regional city which is about 20km away. The house is three bedrooms, recently renovated, and has a lovely open living area with windows all around and views on every side. Verandahs surround the house and paved areas to sit and enjoy the view. There is a BBQ and outdoor seating and table. We have chickens and a big veggie garden and if you want a stroll you can explore down the paddock to Spring Creek itself. We have two dams on the property. The one closest to the house always has the melodic sounds of Pobblebonk and Banjo Frogs to sing you to sleep at night. Although we are close to Torquay it feels as if you are miles away. We think its pretty fantastic living here both in Summer and in Winter too. Our open fire in the living area is so welcoming, relaxing and it will keep you toasty warm.

The Surf Coast shire spreads from Torquay to Lorne and as far as Moriac and Winchelsea. We have so much on our doorstep, with beautiful beaches, bush land and clifftop walks, Surf Culture, Surf shops, Restaurants, Galleries and public art. Torquay is known as the gateway to the Iconic and very beautiful 'Great Ocean Road'. Amazing beaches including the famous Bells Beach are 5 minutes drive away. Lovely places to walk and explore, swim and surf. Our wineries are fantastic! a bit smaller than some on the Bellarine but they make truly great wines! Bellbrae Estate Winery is just round the corner and often have live music on a Sunday afternoon. Foodie options are also growing in the area. Ravens Creek Farm, The Farmers Place, The Chocolaterie, Freshwater Creek's famous cakes, pastries and other local delights are all a short driving distance from here. Our local coffee shop is a secret we hold close as Pam makes the most delicious Vanilla Slices, Yummy lunches and great Coffee!

We are a couple in our 60's, Warren and Michele. Our kids have all grown up and moved away leaving us with heaps of space. We live just out of Torquay on the beautiful Surf Coast! We love living here and we love sharing our lifestyle with friends and visitors. We have always had a passion for travel and new experiences, and have found that by welcoming and meeting other travellers or visitors to our home and area, we also get to relive some of the buzz that comes from being on holiday and exploring a new and beautiful place!
In our daily lives we are involved in lots of community events particularly those that involve music making. This is why we called our place ‘Melody Farm’. Our property is 8 ½ acres and we love keeping chooks for fresh eggs and the entertainment they provide. We have rural views of our beautiful valley, and we are only a short drive to all the best beaches including Bells Beach, Jan Juc and Torquay beaches. We are both pretty relaxed and easy company, happy to fit in with what goes on around us. Our personal travelling style is low key but we love to make our guests feel super comfy and at home. If they are happy, so are we!
