Cozy, comfortable 2nd story 1 BR apt over a detached garage. 36 minute to Mercedes-Benz Stadium. 1 hour to UGA. Sleeps 6. Large closet has a twin bed (also air mattresses) serves as 2nd bedroom. Great for 1 person or a family. Overlooks wooded acres and barn. Rural feel, yet close to Atlanta. 15 min from GA Int'l Horse Park. Lg flat screen TV w/ cable, Netflix and Hulu in the den. Sm Smart TV in bedroom. Wi-fi. Full kitchen, + Keurig, Ninja blender, crock pot & microwave. Washer/dryer.

Many of our guests refer to the apartment as "The Treehouse". The views from the 2nd story apartment are of wooded acres and our small barn. The entrance is at the back of the garage, creating a feeling of seclusion and privacy. Although this is a one bedroom apartment, the closet is almost the size of the bedroom. So, a twin bed and air mattresses are in the closet. Therefore, the closet can be used as a second bedroom.

Great cycling is available right outside your door. As you ride through the area, you might feel as though you recognize a few places. This area is a frequent site for TV and movie filming. Many scenes from the Vampire Diaries and The Originals have been filmed around here.

We have what is needed to make coffee (Keurig with a good selection of coffee) or smoothies (Ninja). Half and half and a variety of sweeteners are also provided. If available, fresh eggs will be waiting for you. If you would like to have milk and cereal waiting for you, let me know.

Located in Conyers , east of Atlanta, which is a 30 minute drive .This property is perfectly situated for getting around to the city. Comfortable access to both I-285 and I-20.

Atlanta International Airport is approximately 40 minutes away, while the Buckhead and Midtown business districts are just 30 minutes away. Other points of interest including the Georgia Dome, Philips Arena, Georgia World Congress Center, CNN, World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Olympic Park, AmericasMart, Underground Atlanta and Piedmont Park. All are also about 30 minutes away. A MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) station is only 30 minutes away. MARTA is suggested when attending any major Atlanta events.

5 minutes from Publix, 15 minutes from a shopping mall, 30 minutes from Atlanta, and 1 hour from Athens, the feeling is rural. It is truly a touch of country in the city. We are also only 10 minutes from the Georgia International Horse Park.

Our small hobby farm, located on 3 heavily wooded acres, has been our family home for 11 years. During that time, the apartment over our detached garage has been a great place to host both short-term and long-term guests. We love travel and meeting new people. One of the things that my husband, an avid cyclist for 30 years, loves about living here is that great cycling routes begin at the top of our driveway. I love the rural, secluded feel combined with easy access to shopping and the offerings of Atlanta. We enjoy taking advantage of Atlanta's great entertainment and sports offerings. Please feel free to ask us about the things that this great area has to offer, including a few hidden gems.
We will always be close and available by text. But, due to the location of the apartment, you can have as much privacy as you like.
