Please review guest requirements before booking. At the Stillwater Farm, we offer an educational and family run equine experience for any horse lover or level of rider. Each experience will be tailored to our guests’ riding experience and comfort level. Upon arrival, guest will get to know the animals and will be partnered with a horse the best suits them for the ride. Each guest will then start off on their horse one at a time in the controlled setting of our round pen. At this time guest will learn how to command and communicate with their horse. This portion of the experience takes about 10 minutes per rider. Once everyone is oriented and ready to go, we will set out on a trail ride as we loop our way around our private property, through the woods and across a open fields. The ride, from the time we set off as a group until the time we arrive back at the barn, will last 45 minutes. Trail rides for less experienced riders will follow trails that are mostly flat, while riders who exhibit a higher comfort level will have the option to take on trails that involve some hills. All rides will conclude in a beautiful field at the top of our mountain top property where our staff will take photos for you. Once the ride has concluded, guest are welcome to reward their horse with treats and help us brush and bathe (in warm weather) them.

Join us on a horseback trail ride down the scenic WAG Trail and learn about the horses in our herd and how they have been rescued from auctions and kill pens. Meandering along the beautiful Genesee River, our guests will experience a four-mile trail ride with the possibility of viewing all different wildlife. After your ride you will be provided treats to give to the horses and thank them for a wonderful adventure. Last but not least we want you to have a fun and enjoyable time , this adventure is for most anyone to enjoy even beginner riders.

Hug A Highland allows guests to visit our family owned and operated farm to brush, love, feed, and take nonprofessional pictures with our Scottish Highlands and miniature donkeys! Guests will receive a hands on class in candle-making. My candle-making class is unique because I create candles that look and smell like edible foods! Guests will be given a tour of my facility and shown different varieties of candles that I make and be offered light snacks and drinks. Then guests will be able to choose which designs they'd like to attempt creating themselves or simply create their very own design from scratch! I will guide them from start to finish on each aspect of creating the candle. This is a hands-on experience where guests will have the opportunity to learn the basics of winemaking from an experienced hobby winemaker beginning with the grapes in the vineyard and ending on the unique FLX Wine Barge. Guests will be greeted by Kathy at Fulkerson Winery where she will lead them to an appropriate vineyard tract, explain about the variety of grapes to be harvested, provide gloves, grape harvesting forks and buckets and set each guest up to pick about 10 pounds of wine grapes each. Once harvesting is complete, the group will return to the winery and, while Kathy settles up for the grapes, guests will be free to do a wine tasting of Fulkerson’s wines with special attention to any wines that were made with the variety of grape just harvested. Next, in their own vehicles, participants will follow Kathy to her place on nearby Lamoka Lake, where they will board the docked FLX Wine Barge to enjoy a boxed lunch. During this time, Kathy will provide an Introduction to Winemaking: From Grape to Glass. Participants will learn how to measure sugar content in grapes using a refractometer and understand how the sugar is converted to alcohol by yeast to make wine. Next, guests will manually destem their grapes and then crush them in the traditional way. Once the grapes have been converted to “must,” we will share a celebratory toast in a Wine Barge souvenir glass. Other things to note This will be a hands-on activity, mostly outdoors. While not strenuous, there will be some walking and bending. Participants will be standing while they destem grapes but will be seated on the Wine Barge.

During this experience, you will make a one-of-a-kind Philadelphia-inspired candle. Each of our scents is named after Philadelphia neighborhoods and each reservation helps plant a tree in Philadelphia. You will be able to choose your own scents, candle jars, and dyes! Each candle is also made of 100% soy wax and pet and vegan-friendly. Some quick information about the experience: The candle-making experience is done as group instruction. To ensure all of our guests enjoy their experience, please arrive on time. You are considered a no-show after 10 minutes past your reservation time. No outside food as this will interfere with the scent picking portion, but we are BYOB! The candles take 2 hours to dry and we hold them for up to four weeks. On this tour, we’ll explore Independence National Historical Park and the Old City neighborhood to see a plethora of historical landmarks! Along the way, your guide will keep you posted on the history of these sites and fill you in on all kinds of useful info for your visit to Philly. After circling Independence Hall, we’ll make our way through other areas of the park. You’ll learn about the history of the Liberty Bell and how it has been used over the years. We’ll see Carpenters Hall, where the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania was founded. Next, we’ll head to the Museum of American Revolution, which offers an incredible look at the stories, artifacts, and people that shaped the American Revolution. We’ll go inside to see a presentation of George Washington’s War Tent ( when your tour is over, you’ll be able to get a discounted ticket to see the rest of the museum). As we walk through Old City, we’ll also pass by some favorite sites outside Independence Park, such as Elfreth’s Alley (the oldest continuously-occupied residential street in the entire US), showcasing incredible architecture dating back to the early 1700s, the Betsy Ross House, named after a famous seamstress and flag maker who is said to have sewn the first ever American flag, Benjamin Franklin’s Grave (bring a penny to toss!), and the outdoor President’s House Landmark where Washington and Adams lived.
