We love sharing our home with our guests who are visiting central Texas. It is SW of Austin, close to wedding venues, parks, wineries, distilleries and breweries. It’s the perfect compliment to start your hill country adventure.

This amazing yurt (giant wood-framed circular tent) is nestled between live oaks up on an elevated deck overlooking a beautiful hill country creek-wrought canyon. The private deck has a large farm table, propane grill, and chairs around a small outdoor fireplace. Inside is cedar planked flooring, comfy queen bed looking up and out the dome window, full bathroom with tub, coffee bar, and yes a TV as well as wifi internet in case you must connect :).

Now with a hot tub! Little Haven is an official 28-acre wildlife preserve and family farm 6 miles north of Wimberley. We manage the land for song birds, owls, other raptors, and turkey. We have goats and chickens...and dogs and cats. There are three miles of trails for hiking and exploring. The sunsets are amazing, and star gazing is the best in Texas (Wimberley is one of only three certified "Dark Sky" cities in Texas). This is the place if you want total quiet, privacy, and dark skies.

We live in the country, with beautiful trees and quiet serenity, just minutes from wineries, distilleries and breweries. The backroads are abundantly colorful in the spring, Pedernales State Park is near by and we are close to several wedding venues.

Note regarding Covid-19: we are taking all measures to disinfect the space between guests. We wash ALL bedding, shower curtains, throw blankets and sanitize all surfaces, handles, remotes and knobs. Your safety and health are our top priority. Escape the city, Hilltop casita offers stunning views of Dripping Springs. Relax in the hammocks, drink coffee (or wine) or do some yoga on the porch. Breathe on the fresh air, enjoy the wildlife, and relax!

Stargate cabin is nestled in the heart of wine, brewery, distillery, and wedding country! Stargate cabin is named after the original name we set for the farm when we 1st purchased. Our cabin sits on the front acre of a 10 acre Hobby farm. We have goats, chickens, horse, and a few cows. While we keep the critters separate from the cabin they may come and visit the fence line. Feel free to give them an ear scratch! (but please do not open the gate) - NO DOGS/PETS

Important note regarding COVID-19: I want you to know that I am doing my part to help you to have a safe stay by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.) before you check in. I am also following the CDC's recommendations of having at least 24 hours between stays. This 550 square ft. clean, light and airy hypoallergenic apartment has all the conveniences of home.

Jaw dropping 20 acres of Hill Country perfect for hiking, star gazing and much more! We have made some changes due to Covid-19. All decorative pillows and throw blankets have been removed from the suite. Late check-outs will result in additional fees and we will not be allowing early check-ins. Our little stone guest house is a perfect combination of comfort and convenience - 8 miles north of Dripping Springs on Hamilton Pool and Hwy 12, it is in the middle of everything - minutes to Dripping and the Galleria, 30 minutes to downtown Austin.
